On Friday, USDA will release two significant cattle related reports in the afternoon: the July Cattle on Feed and biannual Cattle Inventory reports, both at 2 p.m. CDT. Shortly after, CFTC will release the weekly Commitments of Traders report at 2:30 p.m. CDT, which will close the week by updating trader positions as of Tuesday, July 21.
Weather
Batches of scattered showers are found across the center of the country early Friday, which will continue throughout the day. A chance for some heavier rain still exists around the Carolinas while a weak system will move through the eastern Canadian Prairies and Red River Valley where the chances for severe weather will be the greatest.
