Some scattered showers will be found along a disturbance across the western Midwest Friday and across the Northern Plains Friday night. It is this second system that should garner attention as the weather pattern will become active into next week with several chances for rainfall across the northwestern Corn Belt, areas that desperately need it as corn and soybeans fill.
