Light to moderate rain is in store for portions of the western Midwest and the Northern Plains Tuesday. Moisture will be favorable for pollinating corn and flowering soybeans. Other crop areas will be drier. Temperatures will be seasonal to below normal in northern crop areas, seasonal central, and above to much above normal south. Heat advisories and heat warnings cover much of the Southern Plains and Delta.
