Hot and dry conditions are in store for most of the Plains and Midwest Friday. The heat will be stressful to pollinating corn and flowering soybeans. Human and livestock stress will also develop. Rain will be confined to thunderstorm activity in the southeastern Plains, northern Delta and isolated areas of the northern Midwest.
