Beyond weather and coronavirus news, traders will keep a close watch on Wednesday's weekly energy inventory report from the U.S. Energy Department. Ethanol production, inventory and gasoline demand will be the main attractions. The U.S. Labor Department will also have a report on producer prices out at 7:30 a.m. CDT.

Light to moderate rain will cross most of the Plains portions of the Northwest, and southern Midwest Wednesday. Impact will be variable, but northern planting will have further delays. Dry areas of the southwestern Plains will be bypassed by this moisture.
