The Trump administration should consider tariff relief as the country deals with trade and economic disruptions, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, told reporters Monday.
“I would just give you a short answer,” Grassley said, “consider tariff relief.” His comment came in response to a question on what trade actions the administration should take to deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 situation.
Grassley has previously suggested that tariff relief relative to the tariffs put in place against China should be considered.
