EIA will release their weekly Petroleum Status report at 9:30 a.m. CDT on Wednesday morning, offering a look into energy fundamentals for the week ending September 18. There are no other major reports scheduled, and traders will continue to watch for geopolitical updates as well as field level reports from the early stages of U.S. harvest.
Weather
Some showers remain possible across Ohio and into the Southeast on Wednesday, but the main focus is on the Plains where a zone of showers and embedded thunderstorms will be growing throughout the day, especially overnight. Some areas of heavy rain will be possible, with the short-term focus on New Mexico.
