Tuesday looks to be a light schedule for reports, with USDA's Economic Research Service releasing their monthly commodity outlooks (Feed, Wheat, Oil Crops, etc.) at 2 p.m. CDT. Otherwise, traders will continue to follow geopolitical news as well as watch for early yield reports from across the country with early harvesting now underway.
Weather
A cold front will lead to scattered showers and storms across the Upper Midwest Tuesday, with some of the heaviest rain targeting southern Iowa, northern Missouri, and northern Illinois. Rainfall totals by early Wednesday morning could approach 1-2 inches in some of these areas. The front could also extend as far south as West Texas, leading to scattered showers and storms for the Panhandle.
