On the first business day of August, USDA will have full schedule of reports due for release. First, at 10 a.m. CDT is the weekly Export Inspections report. Then in the afternoon at 2 p.m. CDT, the monthly Oilseed and Grain Crushing reports will be released with data from June. Finally, USDA will wrap up the day with the weekly Crop Progress report at 3 p.m. CDT, including development and condition info for U.S. crops.
Weather
As a cold front sweeps through the Northern Plains and enters the Western Midwest Monday, scattered showers and a few strong to severe storms will accompany the front. Some of the strongest storms will target the eastern Dakotas, western and northern Minnesota, and central Nebraska later Monday afternoon into Monday night. Temperatures are also expected to cool off behind this front going into Tuesday.
