Reports for Wednesday include the weekly Petroleum Status release from the Energy Information Administration which will include last week's ethanol production at 9:30 a.m. CST. Otherwise, it looks to be another thin day for reports as traders will continue to position ahead of next Monday's packed USDA schedule.

Anomalously warm January air continues across the vast majority of the country on Wednesday. A system in northwest Mexico will be moving eastward Wednesday, getting into Texas Wednesday night with a trajectory through the Midwest for Thursday. This system will be bringing widespread rain and a little snow on the northern edge of the track. But Wednesday will be a quieter day for most areas outside of the Pacific Northwest.
