Reports for Wednesday include the weekly Petroleum Status report from the Energy Information Administration, due out at 9:30 a.m. CST, which will give traders an update into last week's U.S. ethanol production in addition to U.S. crude oil, gasoline, and diesel inventories.

A clipper is moving from the Great Lakes into the Northeast on Wednesday. It will have only limited precipitation but is causing some stronger winds. Another is moving into the Pacific Northwest and will get into the Northern Plains for Thursday. Breezy winds and streaky precipitation are forecast for this one as well.
