A cold front will move through the eastern Dakotas, western Minnesota, and western Iowa Friday, providing a risk for strong to severe storms. Some of the strongest storms could produce isolated tornadoes, damaging wind gusts, and large hail. Late Friday night into early Saturday, rain and storms will shift east into eastern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and central Iowa. Rainfall in some of these areas could approach 1-2 inches over the next 24 hours.
