Moderate to heavy rain is in store from the southeastern Plains through the Coastal Bend Wednesday. The heavy rain will cause flooding and will be unfavorable for crops. Farther north, light rain will cover much of the western and southern Midwest. Dry northern crop areas remain in line to receive moisture as rain and snow beginning Thursday.
