September U.S. existing home sales and a U.S. index of leading indicators follow at 9 a.m. The U.S. Energy Department reports on natural gas inventory at 9:30 a.m. and USDA's monthly cold storage report is set for 2 p.m. CDT.
WeatherSnow in the Northern Plains and rain in the western and northern Midwest will disrupt harvest Thursday. Other crop areas will be dry. Stormy conditions are indicated for the northern and central crop areas through the weekend along with possible record cold due to a large Arctic cold wave moving into the interior U.S.
