Reports for Monday will include grain export inspections at 10 a.m. CST. Traders will also be watching for flash export sale announcements on Monday morning following USDA's closure Wednesday through Friday of last week. Weekly EIA ethanol production and stocks reports delayed from last week to Dec. 29 because of the extended federal holiday.

Blizzard conditions in the Upper Midwest will subside Monday as snow showers taper off and winds weaken. However, lake-effect snow showers will continue across the Great Lakes throughout the day. Cooler air will blanket much of the Plains with highs remaining below freezing for some parts of the Central Plains.
