The Energy Department's weekly inventory report will be out at 9:30 a.m. CST. The Federal Reserve's Beige Book is set for release at 1 p.m. Traders continue to keep an eye on South American weather and may be a little cautious ahead of Friday's WASDE report.

A front and system continue to push through the East on Wednesday, bringing areas of scattered showers. Another system is moving through the West, with a portion of that system moving through the Northern Plains and Canadian Prairies with some areas of snow. The system will move fully into the Plains Wednesday night and Thursday, producing more widespread showers and thunderstorms in needed areas.
