U.S. factory orders for January will be out at 9:00 a.m. CST, the only significant report of the day. Traders remain interested in the latest weather forecasts, the potential for more western wildfires and have an eye on Friday's WASDE report.

A cold front is sparking scattered showers and thunderstorms from eastern Texas to Michigan Tuesday morning. That front will continue to press eastward through the Midwest and Deep South throughout the day, bringing some needed precipitation to drier soils in some of these areas. Temperatures behind the front are cooler than out ahead of it, but are still mostly warm for early March outside of the Northwest and Canadian Prairies.
