Wednesday Watch List

At 7:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday, the U.S. Census Bureau will report on the international trade deficit for March, a source of more specific export data USDA will provide later Wednesday morning. The U.S. Energy Department's weekly inventory report is out at 9:30 a.m. Traders continue to monitor weather and any news from Ukraine. At 1 p.m., the Federal Reserve concludes its meeting and is expected to announce a half-percent increase in the federal funds rate target.

Weather

Light rain will move across the central and Southern Plains Wednesday, offering some benefit for drought-affected winter wheat. Other crop areas will be dry with some scattered fieldwork possible. Rain will then set up in the Midwest Thursday and Friday, causing more planting delays.
