Moderate to heavy rain will cover the southeastern Plains and southern Midwest Thursday. Fieldwork disruption will occur along with a threat of flooding. Other primary crop areas will be dry. Forecast models suggest a warmer and drier pattern during the next seven days, which would be favorable for row crop planting progress.
