Weather
A system moving through the Central and Southern Plains on Monday is part of an active pattern for all but the Northern Plains this week. Widespread showers and thunderstorms, occasionally severe, will move with the first system through the Midwest on Tuesday, then another system lines up for a similar path Wednesday through Saturday. Severe storms are expected every day this week. When combined with the scattered thunderstorms that occurred on Sunday, the southwestern Plains drought areas have their best chances for precipitation in weeks.
