At 7:30 a.m. CST we will have initial jobless claims as well as continuing jobless claims reported. We will also be looking for any new export sales announcements at 8 a.m. CST and any updates on South American weather.
WeatherThursday brings more effect of a strong Arctic cold wave to most primary crop areas. Ice and snow are in store from the southern Plains through the Delta and southeastern Midwest. A swath of snow will develop in the northern Plains. Bitter cold wind chills will spread across the northern Plains and northern Midwest. Meanwhile, rain will cover much of the western Gulf Coast and Deep South. This combination is stressful to livestock and brings safety hazards to transportation and travel.
