Reports of weekly export sales, weekly U.S. jobless claims and monthly U.S. retail sales will be released at 7:30 a.m. CST Thursday, followed by weekly natural gas inventories at 9:30 a.m. South American weather remains of interest as well as any further information regarding the new phase one trade agreement with China.
Weather
Very cold and dry conditions will cover the entire central U.S. Thursday. The severe cold will be stressful to livestock and transportation. Precipitation will be noted in the southern tier with rain; snow in the Northeast; and moderate to heavy snow in the Far West and Northwest. The western U.S. storm system will bring snow, ice and rain to central U.S. areas during the end of the week.
