Wyoming landowner wins water fight with EPA

Andy Johnson, who built a pond on his land in southwestern Wyoming in 2012 to provide water for livestock, was informed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2014 that his pond violated federal Clean Water Act rules and that he would be subject to fines up to $37,500 daily if he did not remedy the problem. Johnson sued and this week he won his fight, a victory Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso and Rep. Cynthia Lummis applauded
