A system in northern Mexico will lead to scattered rain showers and strong to severe thunderstorms from Texas into the Southern Delta Tuesday. Areas of heavy rainfall and flooding are possible in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi Tuesday as rainfall could approach 3-4 inches across parts of these states.
