A storm system leaving the Plains will provide scattered snow showers to the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley Friday with areas of heavy rain across the Tennessee Valley and Southeast. Another storm system continues moving east across the West with more heavy precipitation for that region. This system will be the next storm system in the active pattern for the rest of the country over the weekend.
