At 7:30 a.m. CDT Tuesday, the U.S. Census Bureau releases the trade deficit for April and also supplies export details that USDA will publish later Tuesday morning. A report on U.S. consumer credit for April is set for release at 2 p.m. Traders will keep watch on the latest weather forecasts and any news of an export sale or updates from Ukraine.
Weather
A few disturbances are moving through the country this week, leading to widespread areas of showers that continue Tuesday. Some severe weather will be possible as well, particularly in the Central Plains. Not everywhere will get the showers. The Red River Valley in the Northern Plains will continue to see favorable dry conditions to perhaps allow for more planting. Texas will be mostly hot and dry for the next several days, though some showers may get into the northern Panhandle.
