USDA's weekly export sales report is set for 7:30 a.m. CST Thursday, along with weekly U.S. jobless claims, the Labor Department's consumer price index for February and an update of the U.S. Drought Monitor. The Energy Department's weekly report of natural gas storage is due out at 9:30 a.m. The U.S. Treasury Department reports on the federal budget for February at 1 p.m.

A strong arctic front continues to trek through the country on Thursday with cold air filtering in behind it. A band of snow from northern Kansas into northwest Missouri will diminish as it moves eastward through the day. Some additional light snow will develop along the front across from northeast New Mexico through southern Michigan tonight.
