Thursday Watch List

USDA's weekly export sales report is due out at 7:30 a.m. CST Thursday, the same time as weekly jobless claims, a report on the November trade deficit and an update of the U.S. Drought Monitor. November U.S. factory orders follow at 9 a.m. and the Energy Department's report on natural gas storage is at 9:30 a.m.

Weather

An upper-level impulse is meeting up with the arctic front moving through the Midsouth and is starting to produce wintry precipitation for the region. Some heavy snow and mixed precipitation will cause lots of hazards for those living there and then up through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast tonight into Friday. The system will continue to push the arctic front south to the Gulf of Mexico while the cold continues to produce some dangerous wind chills in the Plains and Midwest.
