USDA's weekly inspections report and Crop Progress report will take place Tuesday, but USDA is planning to put out daily livestock reports. As usual, the latest weather forecasts and any trade news will be watched closely.
WeatherShowers and thunderstorms will move across the western and northern Midwest Monday with harvest disruption and possible wind damage. Dry conditions will be in place elsewhere. Hot, dry and windy conditions over the weekend further stressed early-developing wheat in the Southern Plains. The Australia Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) 30-day average is plus 12.3, with the 90-day average at plus 8.5. These readings indicate a moderate La Nina in the Pacific Ocean.
