Grain markets probably have more trading to do after Friday's surprise planting estimates from USDA and traders will be watching the latest forecast and any weekend comments from Japan's G-20 meeting. An index on U.S. manufacturing will be released at 9 a.m. CDT, followed by weekly grain inspections at 10 a.m. USDA's Crop Progress report will wrap up the day's reports at 3 p.m. CDT.
Weather
Moderate to heavy rain and flash flooding are in store for the northern Midwest and portions of the Northern Plains Monday. Other crop areas will be dry. Conditions will be very warm to hot as is typical for the first of July.
