Weather remains a primary concern for grain and livestock markets Friday with not much else on the docket until later. At 2 p.m. CDT, USDA releases its monthly cattle on-feed estimates and Dow Jones survey expects a 1.8% increase for July 1 from a year ago. USDA will also release its semi-annual inventory estimate of U.S. cattle and calves.
Weather
Friday will be very hot and stressful to crops, livestock and people across the central U.S. Seasonal temperatures and showers will be confined to the far Northern Plains. The heat wave will ease during the weekend.
