Markets
With row crop planting still a primary market concern, traders will focus on Monday's weather forecasts and USDA's Crop Progress report at 3 p.m. CDT. In addition to planting progress, USDA will give its first glimpse of corn crop conditions for the new season. USDA's weekly export inspections will be released at 10 a.m. CDT, but may be overlooked with USDA's next WASDE report due out Tuesday.
Weather
Major crop areas will be mostly dry Monday. Precipitation will be confined to light rain in the eastern Midwest and Southeast. Temperatures will be seasonal to below normal. Conditions will continue to favor late planting except in areas with extensive river flooding.
