Montana State University Extension is presenting a free Forage Workshop on Thursday April 5, 2018 in Stanford and Great Falls, MT. The free workshop will start at 10:00 a.m. in both locations. The Stanford workshop will be at the City Hall in Stanford and the Great Falls workshop will be at the Montana ExpoPark’s Paddock Club in Great Falls. Topics will include forage production, forage health, forage testing, evaluation, data analysis, hay storage, fertilizer use, and weed control. Speakers are Rose Malisani, MSU Cascade County Extension Agent; Katie Hatlelid, MSU Judith Basin County Extension Agent; David Wichman, MSU Central Ag Research Center Superintendent and Agronomist (retired); Emily Meccage, MSU Extension Forage Extension Specialist; and Jane Mangold, MSU Extension Invasive Plant Specialist.
Admission is free for both workshops and the workshop has been submitted for private applicator credits.
