The U.S. Census Bureau reports on the U.S. trade deficit for June and provides USDA with monthly export data to be released later Wednesday morning. At 9:30 a.m., the U.S. Energy Department reports on weekly energy inventories, including ethanol.

Light to moderate rain is in store for the western Midwest Wednesday, and moderate to locally heavy rain will move through the south-central Plains. Other primary crop areas will be dry. Temperatures will be seasonal to below normal north and central and very warm to hot south, with extreme heat in much of Texas.
