Friday will find showers and thunderstorms in portions of the Northern and southeastern Plains along with the northern Midwest. Other primary crop areas will be dry. Temperatures will be seasonal in the Midwest and above normal in the Plains. The warmer pattern will spread across the entire central U.S. going through the next week.
