No significant reports are scheduled Tuesday, but traders have plenty of concerns about trade relations with China since the White House announced a new tariff on Thursday. Weather is the other significant concern for grain markets as more corn crops enter pollination.

Tuesday features light rain crossing the eastern Midwest and Delta. Moisture will do little to ease dryness. Other crop areas will be dry. Hot and dry conditions will stress crops in the Southern Plains. We'll also see intense heat in the Northwest. Meanwhile, Canadian Prairies temperatures will turn notably cooler, slowing crop progress.
