There are several reports packed into Wednesday's short session and most U.S. grain futures close at 12:05 p.m. CDT. Livestock and Minneapolis grains close at 12:15 p.m. The ADP employment report is at 7:15 a.m. CDT, followed by weekly jobless claims and the U.S. trade deficit at 7:30 a.m. The U.S. Energy Department releases its weekly inventory reports, starting at 10 a.m. CDT. U.S. grain and livestock futures resume trading at 8:30 a.m. CDT Friday.
Weather
Showers and thunderstorms will move through the Northern Plains, Midwest and the Texas Coast Wednesday. Other crop areas will be dry. Conditions are generally more favorable for row crop development and winter wheat harvest.
