Unless something unexpected happens over the weekend, Monday's trading in grains is apt to be restrained ahead of Tuesday's WASDE report. Traders will check South American weather forecasts and any trade news. USDA will release weekly export inspections at 10:00 a.m. CST.

Heavy rain and flood threat is in store for the Delta and southeastern Midwest Monday. Another round of heavy rain is indicated for these areas during midweek. We'll also see snow begin in the far southwestern Plains, where heavy snow is likely over the next couple days. Other crop areas will be drier, allowing for flood recovery in the Northwest and improved transportation in the northern Midwest after heavy weekend snow.
